The state level Shravika Parishath, an organisation for the welfare of Jaina women in Karnataka has started functioning in Bangalore providing the platform to discuss the cultural, literal and social problems of them under the able guidance of His Holiness Swastisri Bhuvanakeerthi Bhattrakaha Maharaj of Sri Kshetra Kanakagiri. The institution also discusses the problems related to Jaina community. It intends to extend its branches at the district, taluk and hobli levels also. A monthly meeting will be scheduled to discuss the problems at length and finding suitable solutions. Further it is intended to publish a bulletin in this regard.
