Sri Kshetra Kanakagiri is a renowned place in the history of Jaina religion in India. Its adhyatmik pavements have further enhanced the sanctity of the place and conferred the title of atishaya siddhakshetra to the place.

     Acharya Pujyapada, imbibed with the name of the place was bestowed with great erudition in literature, philosophy and Agamashastra. He composed Sarvarthasiddhi, Ishtpoadesha, Samadhitantra, Jainendravyakarana and Chikitsashastra. He enriched the heritage of the place by his innate scholarship. He envisaged his journey through various pilgrim centres and finally spent his last days in Kanakagiri. This holy place was the seat of history, dharma, agama, literature, philosophy and also ayurvedic science and thus veritably contributing to the welfare of mankind. A large number of pilgrims and devotees have derived immense tranquility and happiness in this place.

     It is intended that launching of the present website www.Kanakagiri.org fulfills the greater need of comprehending the religious glory of the place.
